Our 10:30 AM service at the Church of the Ascension will feature Rev. Kirk Freeman of Davies Memorial Unitarian Universalist Church speaking on, “A Time for Reckoning.” He writes, “On this first Sunday of the “Preaching Along the Potomac” series…we will reflect on A. Powell Davies’ words and legacy, asking: what are we called to do now, in a time such as this?” In real time in the Fellowship Hall, we will share our own congregational Joys and Concerns and reflection on the service.
