At the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Southern Maryland, we know that everyone has special gifts and abilities that they bring to the Fellowship.  One of the gifts we share is our capacity to care for each other in times of need.

If you have experienced a loss, have an upcoming surgery, or need help getting through an emotional time in your life, please contact the Board Chair so that the community can respond with its support.  If you can send a cheerful note, run errands, give rides, bring meals, or help when people are sick or need a hand, please consider joining this Team.

The fellowship has two “comfort quilts,” made with love by members and friends of UUFSM, which is offered as support to people of the Fellowship in time of need. In addition, “meal trains” and housekeeping help have been organized in the past for folks who need help. The coordinators will send out an alert when needed through e-mail and social media.
