Our July “Preaching Along the Potomac” series continues with a watch party at the Church of the Ascension. This week, we visit the Washington Ethical Society (WES) in NW Washington DC, with music provided by the WES Chorus. The WES holds a special place as the only congregation dually affiliated with Unitarian Universalism and Ethical Culture, an explicitly humanistic tradition founded in the late 19th century.
